I found Nemo! He was hiding here in the Bahamas all along O_O
Atlantis Paradise Island was one of my many places to see on my bucket list. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beach tower. Although the Beach tower did not look as beautiful and modern as the new towers - The Reef and The Cove, it still has all the amenities of the other properties and more like the casino and water park. The gorgeous resort is not all-inclusive, so bring your credit card and lots of cash as it can get quite expensive for your entire stay. You'll be given a room key which is also used to charge everything you eat, do and play onto your room key and paid at the end of your stay by credit card or cash is up to you. The food at most restaurants were great, however Seafire Steakhouse fine dining was my favourite and cooked to perfection. I recommend fine dining over casual dining as the food is 10x better and you won't be disappointed. You will find most restaurants at the Marina Village, but don't forget to make your reservations ahead of time otherwise you'll have your dinner at the buffet which isn't that bad at The Mosaic located inside The Cove. The breakfast and dinner buffet at The Mosaic was a lot better than I expected and beautifully decorated inside and out.
Things to do:
The island alone has so much to see and do, perfect for every age.
Dolphin Cay Swim and interact with playful and charismatic dolphins and sea lions in their shallow water interaction program. For those with the more adventurous adrenaline, experience the speed and agility of the ocean's most spectacular inhabitant's during the Dolphin Deep Water Swim. Or spend the day learning how Atlantis cares for its marine life.
Aquaventure Water Park Challenge a friend to high speed splashdown down the Mayan Temple's Challenger Slide or go solo and take the Leap of Faith slide of 60 feet almost-vertical drop at a high speed through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon. If that's not enough adrenaline for you, take The Surge and The Drop for more adrenaline and fun. For those who are weaker at heart, stroll down the lazy river in your floating device but be prepared to hold on tight for oncoming waves that will swing you to the other side and possibly bump into other fellow Atlantis visitors. The water park will keep you busy for the entire stay in Bahamas that you won't want to leave.
Water Adventures Snorkel, scuba and snuba with Atlantis Aquarist and learn about coral reefs and fishes.
Rock Climbing Test out your rock climbing skills at Paradise Island's Climber's Rush
Pools There are 11 beautiful pools for you to choose from and depending on which tower you are staying at, you may not have access to other pools or you may have access to all if you are staying at the adult-only resort, The Cove
Marine Habitat Discover the marine life at The Dig, Ruins Lagoon, Predator Lagoon, Cenote, Estuary Lagoon, Estuary Lagoon, Reef Lagoon, Hibiscus Lagoon, Seagrapes Lagoon, Stingray Lagoon, Royal Ray Lagoon, and Water's Edge Lagoon.

Nightlife Dance the night away at Aura nightclub and Dragon's Ultra Lounge. Teens can have fun too at Crush, teens only nightclub.
Golf Enjoy an invigorating game of golf and breathtaking ocean views at the Ocean Club Golf Course, an 18-hole course designed by Tom Weiskopf

Awww, so much love from my one and only hubz <3
This entree was HUGE! As you can see from the comparison between the main plate to my sharing plate that it is impossible to finish between two people.
What's your favourite flavoured ice cream?
If you're a girly girl like me going away for 5 nights, pack a dress for every night, 2-3 bikinis, a pair of thongs/flip flops, high heeled sandals and heels, shorts, tanks, sunnies, DSLR/digital camera, and sunblock. As for hair products, it is very important to bring a moisturizing hair conditioner, natural oil product such as jojoba or coconut and a serum. I will explain why it is important to carry these products with you every time you go to a tropical destination or anywhere you will be swimming in my next post. Also, if you are committed to staying in shape, pack your gym gear with you as there is an fitness facility available at the resort. If I remember correctly, there is a daily fee for using the facility.
All in all, enjoy the island of paradise and live in the moment. Cheers ^^
