LEATHER WEATHER

Fall is still in full swing and the best way to stay chic is to add some leather to you layering game or go on full leather. Glossy black leather styled with faux fur and a nude touch offers a sleek take on autumn's new textured trend. I dressed up a leather shift dress with an oversized fur vest and pairing the outfit with an over-the-knee boots and a medium bag for a day to night look. My new light pink hair makes it a lot more edgier than it normally is for my girly appearance.

EMBELLISHED LACE TOP & TEXTURAL SKIRT

Last Thursday, I wore this stunning embellished sheer lace top with a textural flared skirt to the Cinq a Sept that I hosted at the Weslodge restaurant on King West. (Thank you to everyone who came out through that muggy weather to support me, you guys are awesome!) I love a big flare skirt with cool fabrics and textures. Any girl can wear a solid flare skirt, but a cool skirt amps up the originality of your look a hundred times more. Together, the sheer lace top styled with the skirt is absolute perfection of soft intricate details that could only be understood by the city gals.

THE SLEEVELESS STORY

November has been the warmest it has ever been in decades, so the sleeveless game is still strong until the windchill rolls in. Clothing every part of the body but the arms today, I wore a sleeveless linen coat and sleeveless turtleneck sweater. Everything from the neck to the calves is tonal, but the black booties I have for almost a decade.

Do you remember these culottes way back in the summer (here)? I've resuscitated my fave pair of culottes for this doable fall attire. I'm obsessed with this look. Timeless pieces go a long way.
